Meet Bankruptcy Lawyer James A. Pixton
All of our bankruptcy cases are personally handled by attorney James A. Pixton. Upon graduating Boston College Law School in 1996, Mr. Pixton worked as a law clerk for a federal bankruptcy judge. He then represented banks and other large lenders at a downtown San Francisco law firm before opening his own office in 1999.
Mr. Pixton handles bankruptcy litigation matters for his clients. He has represented clients in dischargeability lawsuits (adversary proceedings), sucessfully representing both creditors and debtors. In early 2009, he obtained a $1.1 million judgment for some of his clients.(*) Mr. Pixton's experience on both sides in bankruptcy litigation allows him to see each case from multiple angles and to provide cost-effective and aggressive representation for his clients.
